Zacaruti Smoothie

INGREDIENTS      

1/2 container of Welch’s Frozen 100% white grape juice concentrate
1 peeled banana
1/2 cup Strawberries
, fresh or frozen (if frozen, let thaw 15 min)
1/2 cup Pineapple Chunks, fresh or canned
1 to 2 tablespoons plain yogurt
Ice Cubes

DIRECTIONS

  • Pour the concentrate into blender.
  • Add fruit and scoop in yogurt
  • fill blender half way with ice
  • Blend until thick and smooth (should not be watery or thin
    1. Option: For Adult Twist
    2. Add 3/4 shot glass of brandy or 1 shot glass of strawberry vodka into the bottom of the blender before following with concentrate, fruit, yogurt and ice. Blend until thick and smooth
    3. If you prefer, you can substitute a splash of milk for the yogurt.
      You may add or leave out any fruit. The frozen concentrate is important for this recipe, it makes it think, and gives it a stronger flavor.

    Carrot and Pineapple  Smoothie

     

    INGREDIENTS      

    1 cup pineapple juice
    3/4 cup crushed pineapple
    4 small carrots sliced
    1 tsp. honey
    4 ice cubes

     

    DIRECTIONS

    • Blend everything, but the ice to start.
    • After 10 to 15 seconds drop in ice cube one at a time until smooth. Makes 2 servings

     

     

     
    Strawberry Banana Ultimate Smoothie

    INGREDIENTS      

    1 cup strawberry nectar or apple juice
    1 cup milk
    1 frozen banana
    1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries
    1 cup strawberry yogurt

     

    DIRECTIONS

    • Pour all liquid ingredients into the blender.
    • Add all frozen ingredients.
    • Blend at the MIX setting for 30 seconds then blend at SMOOTH setting until smooth.
    • Move the stir stick around counter-clockwise to aid mixing while the machine is running.
    • Serve immediately.

     

     

    Fresh Fruit Smoothie

     

    “It’s a smoothie recipe with a choice of your own favorite fruit.”

    INGREDIENTS      

    1 cup Watermelon; Cut Up
    1 cup Cantaloupe or Honeydew;
    1 cup Pineapple; Cut Up
    1 cup Mango; Cut Up
    1 cup Strawberries; Halved
    1/4 cup Sugar
    1 cup Orange Juice
       Crushed Ice

    DIRECTIONS

    • Mix all ingredients except ice.
    • Fill the blender container with 1/2 full of mixture.
    • Add crushed ice to fill to the top.
    • Cover and blend on high speed until of a uniform consistency.
    • Repeat with remaining mixture.
    • Serve immediately; garnish with fruit, if desired.
    • Garnish with a strawberry and a sprig of mint
