This is a herding breed and not a lap dog breed. A change of diet may be necessary. Gossip does nothing to further the well being of our beloved breed. Most PONS will eat just about everything and you need to regulate their diets. Check for adverse effects of any meds you give your PONS. Take nothing for granted. Do genetic testing if you are unsure about certain antibiotics.

Leo PON (Born between July 22nd - August 22nd) Proud PON - Cortisone often causes an increase in appetite which may result in significant weight gain. Your PON may have a higher risk for major health conditions (heart, diabetes, etc.) if he is very overweight. Check with your vet about a good weight control diet.

Virgo PON (Born between August 23rd - September 23rd) Working PON - Agility activities are stimulating for PONS, but consider local temperatures and avoid overheating your PON. You may also wish to take your PON for a checkup before starting such activities. Never allow your PON to accept food from strangers.

Libra PON (Born between September 24th - October 22nd) Early socialization of PONS will effect their entire life. Make sure you take your PONS to local classes and bring your PON in contact with children at an early age. PONS need regular schedules and firm discipline. Seek out the advice of those who have been in the breed for many years.

Scorpio PON (Born between October 23rd - November 21st) Prevent rescue situations by giving your PON a "job" to keep him happy. Puppies should not be left alone for long periods of time. Consider reading up on canine behavior issues and seek the advice of certified canine behavior experts for all issues. Don't wait if you notice unfavorable behavior. Check your PON's thyroid to screen out health related behavior issues.

Sagittarius PON (Born between November 22nd - December 21st) Adventurous PON - Avoid changing your PON's diet to please those who have their own political agenda.
