Frequently Asked Questions about PONS You've Always Wanted to Know !
I have a wonderful vet, but others in the breed don't know him. Should I worry ??.
As long as your vet is efficient and caring, that is all that matters. Don't worry about his being known to other PON owners.
I called up about adopting a rescue PON but never heard back. What should I do ?
You need to send an e-mail to your respective PON club's president and this person will put you in contact with the right folks. Good luck..
When I gave my PON a bone, it got stuck in her throat and I had to take her to the emergency vet. It ended up costing me a lot of nerves and veterinary fees. What do you suggest I do ? I am afraid of commercial dog food.
If you look at the front page of PON Digest, you will find a listing of a PON diet and nutrition group. Why not join it and exchange information with other PON owners ??
My PONS hate the taste of apple cider vinegar, but I would like to give it to them because of it's health benefits. Any ideas ?
Sprinkle the apple cider vinegar on top of food rather than in water. Use small amounts at first.
Cow hocks are considered a common breed fault. Have an experienced person, evaluate your PON before you decide to show. Contact your respective breed club for further information.
