Mary Palmer,  1944-2006

Mary was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.  She married in 1967. During their marriage of 40 years, Mary and Tim had two children.  A girl, Tina, and a boy Brent.  Brent is following in her footsteps and likes showing and caring for dogs. Tina is a good care giver.  Mary was always interested in showing dogs, more so then in breeding them.

Through out her life, she finished 22 champions. She started showing Pekinese in 1972 and showed Keyes Hounds and Pomeranians as well. Mary finished her first PON in three shows, and her second in the same amount of time.

Mary Palmer worked on the Specialty in Colorado and on the regional in Florida.  She was going to do the "Meet the Breed" booth for the Eukanuba Show in California.  Mary was also one of the people in charge of our breed specialty for 2007 in Las Vegas. She did what she could to promote the breed and dearly loved her animals.  A good wife and mother,Mary, will be missed. She was 62 at the time of her death. The PON community has lost a devoted PON lover and her family has lost a wonderful mother and loving wife.
