Mary Palmer, 1944-2006
Mary was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in Phoenix, Arizona.
She married in 1967. During their marriage of 40 years, Mary and Tim
had two children. A girl, Tina, and a boy Brent. Brent is
following in her footsteps and likes showing and caring for dogs. Tina
is a good care giver. Mary was always interested in showing
dogs, more so then in breeding them.
Through out her life, she finished 22 champions. She started showing
Pekinese in 1972 and showed Keyes Hounds and Pomeranians as well. Mary
finished her first PON in three shows, and her second in the same
amount of time.
Mary Palmer worked on the Specialty in Colorado and on the regional in
Florida. She was going to do the "Meet the Breed" booth
for the Eukanuba Show in California. Mary was also one of the
people in charge of our breed specialty for 2007 in Las Vegas. She
did what she could to promote the breed and dearly loved her animals.
A good wife and mother,Mary,will be missed. She was 62 at the
time of her death.The PON community has lost a devoted PON lover and
her family has lost a wonderful mother and loving wife.
